Jotly is built with privacy as the foundation. We believe your personal knowledge is yours alone.
1Data Collection: None
We do not collect any personal data. Period. No user accounts, no email addresses, no names, no usage analytics, no crash reporting, no device identifiers, no location data, no behavioral tracking.
2Data Storage: Local Only
All your notes and settings are stored exclusively on your device using local storage (Hive database).
No Accounts
Jotly does not require sign-up, login, or any registration. There is nothing to register.
No Cloud Sync
Your notes never leave your device. No external servers, no backups to our systems.
3Third-Party Services
We use Google Fonts to display text in the app. This may load font files from Google's servers, which is standard practice and subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No user content or personal data is sent through this.
4Your Rights & Data
Since we don't collect any data, there is nothing for us to request, delete, or modify on your behalf. You can export all your notes as JSON at any time from the Settings screen, giving you full control and ownership of your data. When you uninstall Jotly, all local data is removed from your device per standard Android/iOS practice and is not recoverable.
